Have fun, and I'm just bursting with pride that you went and got your medicines like a good girl. You definitely deserve a reward for that one. :)Candicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09845151308757943750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1107542310136355575.post-4647193806211406842010-10-31T11:19:27.625-05:002010-10-31T11:19:27.625-05:00Well, right as rain turned out to be a down pour b...Well, right as rain turned out to be a down pour because I had to leave work yesterday. Sick to my stomach again. I do feel better today. But I'm not holding out for a trip downtown.

But Padawan says that if I take my Pepto like a good girl and actually take the iron vitamins I bought last night (Yes...I did.) then he'll make Halloween up to me. I can choose any Opera or play or anything I want...I'm thinking Cirque Du Solei. That might almost be worth it.

Don't forget to hang garlic on your door to keep the sparkling vampires away!Chanelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18159248995263246944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1107542310136355575.post-38347083908906134792010-10-30T11:08:26.521-05:002010-10-30T11:08:26.521-05:00Iron doesn't taste bad. I promise. :)
I'm...Iron doesn't taste bad. I promise. :)

I'm glad you're doing so much better, and that Padawan is recovered. You're right. Being sick at all sucks, but it's so much worse on a holiday. Blech.

Have a Happy Halloween! Boo! (I know, scary right?)Candicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09845151308757943750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1107542310136355575.post-3485672998531220592010-10-30T09:52:25.272-05:002010-10-30T09:52:25.272-05:00You, my dad, and I are all afraid of needles! Yay!...You, my dad, and I are all afraid of needles! Yay! That makes me feel a little better. Needles wouldn't be nearly as bad if they didn't look so freaking sinister.

It is has slowed down LOTS! *is smug* I knew I didn't need to go to the ER. My doctor is such a worrier.

However, I'm still going to the doctor on Monday after taking Choo Choo to the vet. The bleeding still isn't normal, even if it has slowed, so it's just better to get that part over and done with. She promised she wouldn't stick me with any needles unless absolutely necessary. (I don't think it's for my sake she agreed: I'm pretty sure there's something in my chart about extreme violence when confronted with a needle.)

*big sigh* I hate taking stupid vitamins. Padawan tricked me into taking a whole bunch from one of his packets back when I had strep and it turned out one of them was for Prostate health because it was a package of pills designed for men. I don't even have a prostate! But I promise...if the doctor says I should, I'll do it. Even if they taste bad.

And Padawan is better. He went to work this morning feeling like a shiny new penny. Lucky him. I was actually sick to my stomach last night, but I'm right as rain this morning. Which is good. There's nothing worse than being sick on Halloween.Chanelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18159248995263246944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1107542310136355575.post-64616244608606601732010-10-30T00:02:01.691-05:002010-10-30T00:02:01.691-05:00Ooops! It's not t...I'm creeped out my needles too. It's not the pain for me, either. I totally agree that the idea of something sharp being inside of me is completely shudder-worthy.

But...as a person whose uterus very nearly bled me to death, I can tell you that you will feel better once you get the transfusion (if you end up needing one. I had to have two...but that's a WHOLE other story) What I'm saying is that when it comes to extreme blood loss, that particular needle poke is worth it in the end.

I'm glad that your bleeding is slowing down, and I hope that the trend will continue until you're completely back to normal. Just take care of yoursef. Keep your promise to turn yourself over to the doctor people if it becomes necessary. (If nothing else, an ER visit will make for a GREAT blog post!:))

PS: I have to repeat my strong advice that you start taking iron. (Let's face it, I'm nosy) A couple weeks of taking that stuff brought me back to life. And here's hoping that Padawan will get better soon, too.Candicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09845151308757943750noreply@blogger.com
